These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the PeakGLP app and this website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What PeakGLP is

PeakGLP is a personal tracking companion for people taking a GLP-1 medication. It helps you log injections, view an estimated medication level curve, and track weight, glucose, hydration, exercise, nutrition, and other medications, with optional reminders, on iPhone, Apple Watch, and Home and Lock Screen widgets.

2. Important health notice

PeakGLP is for personal tracking only. Estimated medication levels come from a simplified model based on published half-lives and are not measured blood levels. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always follow your prescriber's instructions and talk to your prescriber or pharmacist about any questions concerning your medication.

3. Beta testing

PeakGLP is currently in beta testing. Beta versions may be incomplete, may contain errors, and may change or stop working without notice. Features may be added, changed, or removed before the public release. By joining the beta, you understand the app is provided on an "as is" basis during testing.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to use the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with the laws that apply to you.

5. Your data

Your health data is stored on your device and in your own private iCloud account. Apple Health access is optional and can be turned off by category in your device Settings. Connecting a FreeStyle Libre sensor through LibreLinkUp is optional. How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your device and iCloud account secure.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose. You agree not to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the app except as permitted by the applicable app store terms.

7. Third-party services

PeakGLP may work with third-party services, including Apple Health and LibreLinkUp. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

8. Intellectual property

PeakGLP, including its name, design, and content, is owned by its creators and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any decisions you make based on estimated medication levels or tracked data.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
